Taylor Whitt graduated from Rochester University in 2002 where he played baseball and golf. Immediately following graduation, he coached at Macomb CC and then St. Mary's College. He left coaching to play professional golf but his love for baseball never left. After his playing career ended, Taylor got back into baseball. He coached at camps and clinics and developed a following of private clients for catching and hitting lessons. He is a MLB certified scout and has worked with individuals in professional, collegiate, and International levels of baseball. Being the son of a big league catcher, Taylor has grown up around the game and carries those experiences into his coaching style.

My name is Jacob Brown, and I am a passionate senior in high school who is dedicated to the sport of baseball. With a strong commitment to my craft, I have been fortunate enough to secure a spot at the prestigious College of Charleston for baseball, where I plan to continue honing my skills and knowledge of the game. As an aspiring teacher, I am excited to share my love for baseball with younger players, and guide them towards reaching their full potential on and off the field. I believe in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, where every child feels valued and motivated to improve their skills. With my experience, dedication, and love for the game, I am confident in my ability to inspire and guide young athletes on their baseball journey.

I have been coaching baseball for eight years, having led 16 different teams in that time from tee ball through 14U travel. I recently became the head coach of junior varsity high school program and have enjoyed working with progressively older players.

The players I have worked with have shown tremendous progress in hitting and defensive skills during their baseball careers. I take pride in tailoring my teaching style to the player’s learning style, and I believe that mastering the mental side of the game is the most important life skill that the baseball offers to young people.
